The Amazing 57 Cent Church

A little girl stood near a small church from which she had been turned away because it was 'too crowded.'

'I can't go to Sunday School,' she sobbed to the pastor as he walked by.

Seeing her shabby, unkempt appearance, the pastor guessed the reason and, taking her by the hand, took her inside and found a place for her in the Sunday school class. The child was so happy that they found room for her, and she went to bed that night thinking of the children who have no place to worship Jesus.

Some two years later, this child lay dead in one of the poor tenement buildings Her parents called for the kindhearted pastor who had befriended their daughter to handle the final arrangements.

As her poor little body was being moved, a worn and crumpled red purse was found which seemed to have been rummaged from some trash dump.

Inside was found 57 cents and a note, scribbled in childish handwriting, which read: 'This is to help build the little church bigger so more children can go to Sunday School.'

For two years she had saved for this offering of love.

When the pastor tearfully read that note, he knew instantly what he would do. Carrying this note and the cracked, red pocketbook to the pulpit, he told the story of her unselfish love and devotion.

He challenged his deacons to get busy and raise enough money for the larger building.

But the story does not end there...

A newspaper learned of the story and published It. It was read by a wealthy realtor who offered them a parcel of land worth many thousands.

When told that the church could not pay so much, he offered to sell it to the little church for 57 cents.

Church members made large donations. Checks came from far and wide.
Within five years the little girl's gift had increased to $250,000.00--a huge sum for that time (near the turn of the century). Her unselfish love had paid large dividends.

When you are in the city of Philadelphia , look up Temple Baptist Church, with a seating capacity of 3,300. And be sure to visit Temple University, where thousands of students are educated.

Have a look, too, at the Good Samaritan Hospital and at a Sunday School building which houses hundreds of beautiful children, built so that no child in the area will ever need to be left outside during Sunday school time.

In one of the rooms of this building may be seen the picture of the sweet face of the little girl whose 57 cents, so sacrificially saved, made such remarkable history. Alongside of it is a portrait of her kind pastor, Dr. Russell H. Conwell, author of the book, 'Acres of Diamonds'.

This is a true story, which goes to show WHAT GOD CAN DO WITH 57 CENTS.

REMEMBER to make a wish before you read the prayer. That's all you have to do. There is nothing attached. This is a powerful novena.

If you don't make a wish, it won't come true. Last Chance to Make a Wish.

May today there be peace within..
May you trust your highest power that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.

May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing you are a child of God.

Let this presence settle into our bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing and dance. It is there for each and every one of you.

Faith Sings Before the Dawn

Faith is one of the most complex thing for our natural logical soulish mind to understand because faith is processed and felt only in the innermost recesses of our spirit-man which is always God-conscious. The slightest movement of God's lips and the softest touch of His Spirit upon us can only be felt by our spirit-man.

This is the reason God always encourages us to look beyond our natural abilities of our intellect and feed the inner spirit-man with His word so that we can hear the heavenly singing of angelic birds around us even when the dawn that is breaking in our life is still dark (Heb 1:14).

Tagore, the well-known Indian poet, gives us one of the most beautiful definitions of faith ever put into words. He writes:

"Faith is the bird that feels the light,
and sings when the dawn is still dark."

A man of faith is the one who knows great things will happen by the evidence that he sees deep inside his heart and begin to live as though it is at hand, God is pleased and excited to act on behalf of such faith-people who live a venturous lifestyle like this (Heb 11:6; Prov 20:5; 2 Chron 16:9).

It is easy to sing after the dawn breaks forth in to a beautiful sunny morning, but it is truly amazing when a person learns to sing a song of praise and thanksgiving to God when he is in the darkest time of the night before the dawn (Acts 16:22-26; Eph 5:19-20; Col 3:16). In other words, when the going gets tough only the tough men of faith get going.

Be a man and women of faith and put a smile on God's face whenever he sees you from heaven.

If you are a man of faith, you will always have a peaceful twinkle in your eyes, joyful leap in your walk and a melodious song in your mouth. These are all a sign that you are walking by faith and as a result of it you are inline with God's will for your life (2 Cor 5:7; Phil 4:4; 1 Thes 5:16-18).

"While reason is puzzling itself about mystery, faith is turning it to daily bread, and feeding on it thankfully in her heart of hearts." - Frederic Dan Huntington

Earthly Pilgrimage With A Heavenly Destination

Don't let riches--or the pursuit of riches--derail your pursuit of Jesus.

Many times we as Christians are more at risk of pursuing riches when God blesses us, than when we live through our times of difficulties. This is the reason the greatest blessing of God in a person's life is to cultivate a genuine dependence on God irrespective of whether we have things or not, whether we are rich or poor and whether we face problems or not (Prov 30:7-9).

Being rich is good as long as you are acting as a good steward in using it for the extension of God's kingdom on earth (Luke 16:9-13). But setting our heart in pursuit of riches will not only bring all kinds of evil things to happen in our lives, but also will slowly make us stray away from the faith in our greediness and will make ourselves get pierced through with many sorrows (1 Tim 6:10). Money is not the problem as long as we don't love it instead of God, but we cannot love both (1 Tim 6:10; Luke 16:13).

This is why God spoke through one of the richest kings of all times who had everthing on earth, but his heart was in pure pursuit of God when he lived on this earth. King David was a God foccussed man who was so blessed and satisfied by God that he said, "If riches increase, set not your heart upon them" (Psalm 62:10). Catch hold of this secret inorder to live a blessed and satisfied life in this planet earth. So what are you after? If you are after God, you will be the most satisfied man when you leave this earth. But if you are after money, you will leave this earth as the most sorrowful man. Be earthly satisfied and blessed as a pilgrim on earth who is bound towards heaven (Ps 84:5; Col 3:1).

Rise India Rise!

"If there is one place on the face of earth where all the dreams of living men have found a home from the very earliest days when man began the dream of existence, it is India!" - Romaine Rolland, French scholar

Rise India Rise! For it is YOUR TIME to GLORIFY YOUR Lord JESUS in these End Times!

God says to INDIA, "1 ARISE [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you--rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you! 2 For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness [all] peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you [O INDIA], and His glory shall be seen on you." (Is 60:1-2).

By the way, Christianity did not come from the west to INDIA. But it started way back nearly 2000 years ago, when APOSTLE THOMAS was sent specifically by JESUS to go and be planted as an apsotolic seed in this land of great need of real spirituality and hunger for the supernatural (John 12:24).

TO all my fellow DESI brethren around the World I wish you all a glorious and Holy Ghost filled Independence day, may you all be filled with Joy and Awe of our Lord Jesus who thought about India and all of us 2000 thousands years ago itself and sent Apostle Thomas to INDIA.

He knew that all our Fathers, Mothers, Brothers and Sisters will be born in the end time in this great nation of INDIA and will come to KNOW HIM intimately through the glorious GOSPEL of Jesus Christ (Acts 17:26). The Lord will arise over India in the coming days and will glorify HIMSELF through it.

Truly, you are the essence of this enigmatic phrase, "UNITY IN DIVERSITY". You are the UNIVERSITY standard for all others nations to follow.

May the LOVE OF GOD keep you united in these end times to fullfill His destiny for us (Jer 29:7).

I am reminded by God to display the address of some prophecies that I have put in my blog months ago about INDIA's Future prophesied by prophets and prophetesses around the World. Please take some time to read saints and thank God for what He is going to do in INDIA in the coming days.

Prophecies regarding INDIA:

GOD BLESS YOU INDIA!

A Dog Named Faith

This dog was born on Christmas Eve in the year 2002. He was born with 2 legs - He of course could not walk when he was born. Even his mother did not want him.

His first owner also did not think that he could survive and he was thinking of 'putting him to sleep'. But then, his present owner, Jude Stringfellow, met him and wanted to take care of him.

She became determined to teach and train this little dog to walk by himself. She named him 'Faith'.

In the beginning, she put Faith on a surfboard to let him feel the movement.

Later she used peanut butter on a spoon as a lure and reward for him for standing up and jumping around.

Even the other dog at home encouraged him to walk. Amazingly, only after 6 months, like a miracle, Faith learned to balance on his hind legs and to jump to move forward.

After further training in the snow, he could now walk like a human being.

Faith loves to walk around now. No matter where he goes, he attracts people to him.

He is fast becoming famous on the international scene and has appeared on various newspapers and TV shows.

There is now a book entitled 'With a Little Faith' being published about him. He was even considered to appear in one of Harry Potter movies.

His present owner Jude Stringfellew has given up her teaching post and plans to take him around the world to preach that even without a perfect body, one can have a perfect soul'.

In life there are always undesirable things, so in order to feel better you just need to look at life from another direction.

I hope this message will bring fresh new ways of thinking to everyone

and that everyone will appreciate and be thankful for each beautiful day.

Faith is the continual demonstration of the strength and wonder of life (that GOD created). (RFB)

A small request: All you are asked to do is keep this story circulating.

Are You Worried About Your Quilt Holes?

"The Quilt Holes"

As I faced my Maker at the last judgment, I knelt before the Lord along with all the other souls.

Before each of us laid our lives like the squares of a quilt in many piles; an angel sat before each of us sewing our quilt squares together into a tapestry that is our life.

But as my angel took each piece of cloth off the pile, I noticed how ragged and empty each of my squares was. They were filled with giant holes. Each square was labeled with a part of my life that had been difficult, the challenges and temptations I was faced with in every day life. I saw hardships that I endured, which were the largest holes of all.

I glanced around me. Nobody else had such squares. Other than a tiny hole here and there, the other tapestries were filled with rich color and the bright hues of worldly fortune. I gazed upon my own life and was disheartened.

My angel was sewing the ragged pieces of cloth together, threadbare and empty, like binding air.

Finally the time came when each life was to be displayed, held up to the light, the scrutiny of truth. The others rose; each in turn, holding up their tapestries. So filled their lives had been. My angel looked upon me and nodded for me to rise.

My gaze dropped to the ground in shame. I hadn't had all the earthly fortunes. I had love in my life and laughter. But there had also been trials of illness and wealth, and false accusations that took from me my world, as I knew it. I had to start over many times. I often struggled with the temptation to quit, only to somehow muster the strength to pick up and begin again. I spent many nights on my knees in prayer, asking for help and guidance in my life.. I had often been held up to ridicule, which I endured painfully, each time offering it up to the Father in hopes that I would not melt within my skin beneath the judgmental gaze of those who unfairly judged me.

And now, I had to face the truth.. My life was what it was, and I had to accept it for what it was.

I rose and slowly lifted the combined squares of my life to the light.

An awe-filled gasp filled the air. I gazed around at the others who stared at me with wide eyes.

Then, I looked upon the tapestry before me. Light flooded the many holes, creating an image, the face of Christ. Then our Lord stood before me, with warmth and love in His eyes. He said, 'Every time you gave over your life to Me, it became My life, My hardships, and My struggles.

Each point of light in your life is when you stepped aside and let Me shine through, until there was more of Me than there was of you.'

May all our quilts be threadbare and worn, allowing Christ to shine through!

God determines who walks into your life...it's up to you to decide who you let walk away, who you let stay and who you refuse to let go.'

Father, bless all my family and friends in whatever it is that you know they may need this day! And may their life be full of your peace, prosperity and power as he/she seeks to have a closer relationship with you. Amen.

Would you run from church if this happened to you?

If you agree, please pass this on. It is said that 86% of the World's people believe in God.
Why don't we just tell the other 14% to be quiet and sit down?
Just pray to God, Lord Jesus help me faithfully love you as you love me, pass this on, God Bless You....
